Program Manager for startup project team, milestone tracking, heavy R&D

• Managed small team of developers (3), tracking and reporting all work efforts towards what was to be an ETM (Electronic Transmission Management) service provider.

• A team of five, we worked with 12 Business Unit's to review, analyze, and define operational hierarchies; interviewed process owners to document current business functions and IT components.
• Performed a Needs Analysis, Functions Inventory and Business Impact Assessment; cleansed and normalized all data sources to identify quality issues, cross-functional ownership and organizational adjustments required to support the predefined recovery requirements.
• Developed project methodology utilizing DRI's 7-phase approach, incorporating the use of Strohl; providing a structured breakdown of phased objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Identified requirements and resources based on unique and cross functional business processes and IT components; coordinated technical issues between end users and management, met with auditors (KPMG) to ensure ING's due diligence.
• Illustrated process flows, worked with IT to identify logical data model and off-site recovery alternatives. Updated crossover plans utilizing normalized BIA.
• Created custom queries, reports and forms to report progress, validate updates, generate future phased elements and ensure the logical integrity of the project.

• Managed team of eight programmers; remediating and migrating two proprietary insurance applications for Y2K code errors in an OS390, COBOL, CICS, DB2 and IMS (online and batch) environment.
• Reviewed project history, reconciled and obtained sign-off for payment of three years invoiced T&E (3.5M).
• Consolidated metadata within the application code to produce a functions list; both systems were more than fifteen years old, neither with documentation.

06/02 - installed and configured Apache Web Server, MySQL and PHP on my local Win2000 network. Learned and built several functioning systems, limited by data hosting and configuration issues of known bugs. Looking in to VMWare now.
